Cybergamer NS2 Leagues Start!

Leagues are now LIVE!

Apologies for the delays in everything getting started, but we're live now and the first season will run for 8 weeks from tomorrow, 23nd of January until the 20th of March.

The format for leagues will be based on divisions. Each season will run for 8 weeks and there will be divisions of 8 teams. These 8 teams will play round robin matches over a period of 7 weeks with the top 4 then playing semi-finals and grand finals in the 8th week of the tournament. After the playoffs there will be a single map up/down match between the top 2 of a division and the bottom two of the division above. This format is better explained in the graphic below.



Please ensure your team members read the rules as there is no leniancy regarding breaches of rules.

Please also remember that the "challenging" team will be able to offer two times - we advise talking to other teams to organize these times if possible.

So get your strats down for your first match as it all starts tomorrow! You can check your opponents for each of the following rounds by reviewing the schedules below.

It says under the "Min Accept Notice" section in the match details page that we only have 24 hours to accept, but it says 31 hours up the top in "Waiting on FeX / Sago to accept the match (31h)." (been counting back from 48 hours).

So which is it? 48 hours or 24 hours accept notice? Do I only have 7 hours left to accept? Or the full 31? Cause we haven't got a full roster confirmed for the time yet. Would be good to know if I have the extra day's time to see if anybody else says they can make it.

You have 48 hours to issue the challenge, the defending team has 24 hours to accept an offer.

allow me to explain this in ns2 terminology. it's a feature

OH! You mean for the minimum accept notice. Yeah, that's the minimum amount of time before a match you can accept. EG. Team A offers 8pm monday and tuesday. Team B cannot accept the 8pm Monday offer after 8pm Sunday night.

That's what that means. You need to accept with enough time for the other team to be ready for it.

Oh, so you have 48 hours to accept after a challenge has been made, but you cannot accept less than 24 hours before the offer date/time. (So if a challenge is made for 48 hours from when it was first issued, you only have 24 hours to accept, but if the challenge is made 72 hours or more before the offer date/time you have the full 48 hours)

if you challenge during a public holiday and it's also a leap year the time then doubles resulting in a 154 hour wait until you have 72 hours to accept in which case you then can't play the game you accepted for 24 hours.
