What suggestions would you have in changing the way the competition is run?

As for servers, this issue was resolved like 5 weeks ago and was only applicable to aus vs foreign teams. Understand i was assured I would have admin on UWE officials for that nos vs rrf match, but was apparently never added to the admin list.

But that is history and the result of understandable growing pains. UWE have finally made on their promise to provide servers for NSL use. Currently, the server situation relevant to the oceanic league is as follows (this means admin control and ensl consistency checking)

AU servers
UWE official AUS #1
Monash private
*edit* -/AUS/- clan server

SG servers
UWE official Singapore #1

US West servers
team 156.com las vegas

So no, it is not going to be shambles again

Any chance of staggering each weeks games?
Hard to cast when all the games at scheduled for the same time/date.

ensl need a stricter approach to playing games. not this "oh play it next week".

League admin here. I signed up on your forums to give you guys a little wakeup call, please note that I'm not trying to be rude. But what I read on these forums makes me a bit upset.

The games have ALWAYS been meant to be played WITHIN the leagueweek, which goes from default time, to next default time. Exactly one week.
In special cases where the matches have not been played, teams have been allowed to play outside the leagueweek.

To be honest, Elodea did a great job of cleaning up the mess Arkanti left you guys with. You should be thanking him instead of putting him down.
But he can only do so much as an admin, he can't force anyone to play the games if they don't want to. The quality of the league is totally up to the teams participating. Think about it.

The mess in the australian league in season 1 is not on Elodea, servers was the responsibility of the teams, not the admins. But thankfully we got some servers that we can offer now, thanks to UWE.

Ragenation, the match times are 100% up to the two teams playing each specific match, as long as it is within the leagueweek. First priority is that they can attend and play it, we can't force reschedules because we want a caster present for every match. That will potentially mean less games actually gets played.

I hope you guys will make season 2 alot better for yourselves by showing up for your games.

The biggest problem with season 1 was the mixed feelings players were having towards NS2 at the time. The competitive scene seems to have some life in it again but I wonder how long it will last

Xmas in the middle of the season didn't help too much. That's when things really fell apart.

I know that the xmas break was not too good. We will avoid breaks in the future. The reason we had the xmas break this time, was because we wanted the league to kick off with the release of the game.

That will not be repeated, we are planning carefully for summer holidays and so forth. In the summer break, which would be a winter break for you guys, we will hold several types cups to keep some competetion going for the teams or players that are still around in the break. But there will be no seasons broken up by breaks anymore.
